Vacation and April Fools

Happy April Fools and Happy Birthday to Bob. I find something so right about my smart-ass, teasing husband being born on April 1. It just makes sense to me.

We are getting on a plane tomorrow evening to head out West for some R&R and I think we are all a little antsy. I didn't sleep well because I couldn't shut my brain up from worrying about everything. The McBean woke up a little early this morning and was a bit cranky. His schedule is a little off today because our fabulous daycare lady, Miss Carol, is on vacation. So this means that instead of going to Miss Carol's and taking the bus to school today, the McBean went to school with Daddy. Here's hoping that he has a good day at school today because then he is on Spring Break until April 14. Cross your fingers that our travel is easy tomorrow.
